VolunteersCentennial Parklands is a fantastic public asset that we should all treasure. Since 1888 it has been known as the "People's Park" and has been the place for generations of Sydneysiders and tourists to come, relax, play, breathe, exercise and enjoy this little 'oasis in the middle of the city'.

While the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust is responsible for overall management of the Parklands, it cannot do so without the ongoing support of the community it serves. The Parklands will not be here for this and future generations to enjoy, as you know them today, unless we continue our unique partnership of mutual responsibility and support between the Trust, the Centennial Parklands Foundation and the community.
